Artistic Projects

Here you can find my artistic work from the period of 2020-2024, as well as future speculations (2024-2026). Currently, I take the more-than-human as a conceptual starting point of my work. Inspired by Timothy Morton (2021), I see art as ecology where feelings of the 'uncanny' occur, signaling that something is off, as we are entering a whole new geological period, one marked by humans becoming a geophysical force on a planetary scale (p.6). Art itself allows for ambiguity, and this ambiguity forms the basis of being ecological. Timothy Morton argues for 'playful care' and 'playful seriousness', something I attempt to embody in my artworks.

You can find the following works here: 'Butterfly Man', ‘Performing the Line’, ‘Fake!', 'What happened to the Unicorn',' Return of the Sirens’,'The Last Bastion', 'Jan', 'Bathtub Opera',and 'Sea Bells'.
